October 8, 2021 I started this piece some time after reading Remember Be Here Now by Ram Dass, when I only hand painted clothes. The words on front side are a silly wonderful page in the book. ram dass has a beautiful way of reminding you/smacking you right back to the present moment. The time on the alarm clock changes numbers but its always here right nowie 🤪🪿

~words on the back side are v important to me, when I read them the first time I was like…there’s the damn truth wait that’s what I’ve been feeling my whole life lololol🙀
I sat for hours carefully hand painting the letters. I had just started using the best fabric paint and I didn’t know how to work with it-buT experimented and was excited how the paint could have no texture feel on the fabric. I came back to it in May. Going over the letters with the airbrush felt like a full circle moment. Growing, experimenting, lots of experiences I’ve lived since October 8 2021. Lots more growing to experience as is living life, but this passage is what I want to scream to the fuckin world.

side note;
Some pictures are from my camera, and some on my iPhone portrait mode-
the camera captured the details more but the colors weren’t as bright as they are in person, and the iPhone ones are more true to the vivid colors but idk my phone display is also broken/ darker than it should be so. Just for accuracy wanted to say 🤧🫡🖖
